This book had me hooked from page 1 when I immediately fell in love with Lu. Great character! I thought I had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen, but then the story took an unexpected twist. There was one more unexpected twist near the end. The plot honestly wasn't the strongest thing about this book though. I couldn't stop reading because I was so interested in the main character.Product details

Love the suspense, kept me reading till the book was done.
I thought it was very well written. The author gave the right emphasis on the details to keep my attention throughout.
This is a story that captures the reader and by the end it feels so personal!
The characters are very real life and oh my did I shed tears, laughter and joy all while reading this good story!

A quick and easy book to read. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. I was immediately drawn to "the girl" Lu, a bright and brave girl that will capture your heart.
Really liked this book- the plot was believable and fast paced. There were enough twists to keep me reading for several hours. Loved the ending - will recommend to all my friends.
I loved that the story kept flowing. It didn't constantly repeat itself. The story was fast pace and kept you wanting to read more!! I loved the book.
Within 30 pages I felt like I knew the characters. I read mostly at night, and I kept looking at the clock to see if I had time to read one more chapter. I wanted to know what was going to happen next and who was going to do what. It's a fast and convenient read with short chapters, but there is still enough meat there to feel like I can relate to the characters and almost predict how they will behave. It's as if the author knew them before she wrote the book. New characters who come later in the book, like the FBI agent, are developed quickly and with ease, without distracting from the main story line. I admired the girl's courage, but the outcome took me by surprise. I could even relate to the dog, as he reminded me of my own dog friends. Definitely enjoyed this and didn't want to stop reading. Recommended!
